Freeview is available in the UK on the Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT) platform. To see whether you can receive Freeview you will need to check your postcode for digital TV coverage. This can be done over the phone or online.

There a 2 main sites for checking your Freeview (DTT) coverage...

www.freeview.co.uk and www.dtg.org.uk

Both will predict your coverage, however, these are only predicted by the post code you give and you may still be able to receive Freeview even if these sites say you cannot.

The best way to find out is to either go and and buy a cheap box and try for yourself, or borrow a box from a friend to try in your home. The only way to know for sure if you can receive Freeview is to try it out.
